A new musical with music & lyrics by Ellen Weiss, book by James Hindman with additional book and lyrics by Cheryl Stern and developed with Jack Cummings III and Adam R. Perlman.

 
Transport Group presented this world-premiere musical that follows the story of Claire Stark, a woman whose obsession with Audrey Hepburn unexpectedly brings her face to face with the most difficult choice of her life.  Claire has it all: a beautiful life, the husband of her dreams...and a view of Tiffany's.  When her world threatens to collapse, Claire seeks refuge in a romantic adventure inspired by the films of Audrey Hepburn.  Now she must choose between fantasy and reality.
 
With a jazz-infused score by Ellen Weiss and a provocative book by James Hindman, Being Audrey is an inspiring musical that combines different teatricalities for a breathtaking experience.  Broadway veteran Cheryl Stern (also contributed to book and lyrics) starred in the central role.  Also starred Stephen Berger, Andrea Bianchi, Valerie Fagan, Mark Ledbetter, Michael Maricondi, Blair Ross, and Brian Sutherland.  Musical direction, arrangements & orchestrations by Lanny Meyers.  Musical staging & choreography by Scott Rink.  Directed by Jack Cummings III.
