From April 23 through May 28, 2007, TRANSPORT GROUP inaugurated its first series of musical theatre masterclasses taught by some of Broadway’s greatest divas.

The Diva Masterclasses met for 3 hours once a week every Monday (6 - 9 p.m.), for six weeks.  The intimate class of 8 learned from a different Broadway diva each week covering song interpretation, ballads, uptempos, audition material, comic songs, and many other topics.

All classes took place at Pearl Studios located at 500 Eighth Avenue, between 35th and 36th streets.  The cost per student was $750.00.

Next season, there will be two series of musical theatre masterclasses, one in the winter of 2008 and another in the spring of 2008.  Please check back soon for details regarding teachers, schedule, tuition and how to apply.
