MISSION TRANSPORT GROUP creates intimate works by American writers that illuminate the American experience. Our integrated production elements distill the material to its core.
HISTORY Founded in 2001 by Jack Cummings III and Robyn Hussa, we have staged thirteen productions: seven plays and six musicals, including six world premieres and seven revivals. Although we have produced play readings, solo shows and special events and have done outreach projects to disadvangtaged communities, our main focus now is the presentation of two fully staged works annually. Our recently completed 7th season included a revival of the classic American anti-war drama Bury the Dead by Irwin Shaw and a world-premier musical, Being Audrey with musica and lyrics by Ellen Weiss and book by Jim Hindman with Cheryl Stern.
